Physics of Lost
I'm a big fan of the television show Lost and, apparently, so are the editors of Popular Mechanics, who have devoted a great deal of time to analyzing the science from the show over the last few months. My favorite aspect of the analysis is the visual comparison of the Large Hadron Collider to the Dharma Initiative logo.
Do these articles reveal what's going to happen in the season finale this Thursday? Of course not, but that's hardly the point. For fans of the show, any of these tidbits that can help us get a handle on the complex web of intrigue is well worth it.
