Physics Application - Doppler Radar

Ultimately, the goal of physics is not only to understand the workings of the universe, but to utilize that understanding to useful ends, frequently through the development of some technological device. One such device is Doppler radar, which utilizes the Doppler effect of waves to determine the motion of objects, such as speeding cars. Even movement of water particles in clouds can be analyzed with these devices.
