Discover magazine is hosting a contest for people to create a video which quickly and accurately explains string theory (in a way that is accessible to viewers without doctorates, which is the real hurdle in discussing string theory):
String Theory in Two Minutes or Less: How Smart (and Fast) Are You? video contest
The contest will be judged by Columbia University physicist Brian Greene, author of the wonderful book The Elegant Universe and host of a pretty good documentary by the same name. The winning video will be broadcast from Discover.com and the individual or team that created it will be covered in an issue of Discover.
So, if you're looking for some physics bragging rights, dust off a video camera, come up with some ideas, and grab your two minutes of fame!

How do I find the videos that have been entered? I saw them a while ago, but now they don’t come up.
